Transatlantic Higher Education Accelerator Matchmaking
On November 2, we hosted our first transatlantic higher education-based accelerator matchmaking event between the U.S. West Coast and Germany in a virtual format.
With a total of twenty-two attendees representing major institutions, we planted the seeds for future cooperation between West Coast accelerators eager to attract German innovation and talent, as well as German accelerators seeking to better understand the landscape of Silicon Valley and the U.S. West Coast. Some of our attendees represent accelerators focused on specific areas (i.e. life sciences), while others are more general in nature.
As these accelerator partnerships progress, we plan to host further events in the coming year that bring in VCs and corporate partners.
